Anyone feel like God is calling you to missions? Please comment and share :) I love to hear the stories of God showing his wants and desires for our lives :)
I have been feeling God call me to mission work for the last year and a half. I know I needed to go to Bible college after I graduate this year. I want to go to learn how to study the Bible for myself and learn how to find the answers, instead of asking everyone else.
There was just one problem with this plan. I have no money what so ever. I still told myself I was going to apply and if God wants me to go, He will provide.
I applied last month and already God has cut my bill well over half way. God is so amazing!

I felt for sure that God was calling me to missions when I heard at my church about a missionary who works at an orphanage in India. This hit me home, cause I have always know I wanted to work children/teenagers, bringing the love of Jesus to them. I suppose I have known for a long time that I want to be a missionary, but I wasn't exactly sure what. I don't know how it's jgoing to happen, how God will provide the money, I believe this is His plan for my life. Oh boy! :)
I have a similar story :) I have always felt 'the call', even when I was really little... though I am ashamed to say that I have fought it for years! I am now accepting God's plan and seeing what He has for me in the call that he has on my life :)
Absolutely! I could share story after story of what the Lord has shown me and taught me in this area of my life. I almost went back to Africa for a year to work in an orphanage/woman's shelter but the doors were closed. The Lord taught me so much through that experience about serving wherever he has placed me. I chose to serve Him now at home but I still have a heart for foreign missions and hope to return to that work again someday. :)
