I can't believe that October is over!!

This month flew by!  It has snagged on summer and dragged it away, showing us the heart of Autumn. The trees are popping now, beautifully clothed in the reds and yellows of change.  Fall is a gorgeous time of year...how can anyone not see the fantastic work of our Creator?  Look at the blue sky, the trees, and the sun millions of miles away...there is a God out there that is more than just there.  He has shown his hand in everything we see.  He has placed his love upon this world in the form of nature, of birth, and of skill.  He cares for one and all....

Radical....Bad?

Is being radical bad??? Well...it depends on the type of radical I guess.  Radical as in going out and doing crazy, radical things to gain attention, is bad.  The Bible tells us to give glory to our savior not to ourselves.  Now, radical in a christian way, as in, going out and preaching the gospel like there is no tomorrow...that is amazing!  Radical can be defined as different.  What's wrong with different? Different is cool, different is Christ.  Christ was a stranger to the people he came to save.  Christ was different.  Why not step out and be Radical for Jesus???  Why not try to do something amazing and awesome for your Creator?

Wherever you are...

God loves you the same.  No matter how you feel about it.  He cares for you more than anybody could.  How can you reject that? How can you not want to be embraced by someone who cares for you?

The Mission Field...In Your State

Do you want to go on missions?  I do, I want to go to Africa, Russia, Ireland and places like that.  But, look around you and see that there is need RIGHT where you stand.  There are lost people all around you.  Just look with the eyes of a servant, and you'll see the lost gazing back at you with longing in their eyes for something they do not yet know.  Even though the whole world needs Christ, so does your family and friends.  So does your town and state.  Look within your country and see the possibilities for missions work... Those who go to foreign countries are blessed with a gift of compassion, and so are those who minister to those closest to them.  I want to go on missions.  What about you?

Happy Day!

Are you happy today?  I know it's cold, I know its raining.  But who cares!!!!!!!  Jesus loves me and that's all that matters!

As Youth in the U.S.

As young people in the United States of America, we know warm houses, cars, phones, and pretty much everything we need.  Right? Yes and no.  There are those few in this country that truly NEED.  I have never had to go hungry because there was no food.  I have never been cold in my house to a point that I could be harmed, I have never even had to work for what I own.  As a youth, my parents bear the brunt of the money making responsibility, as they should because they were destined by our Maker to do so.  But, I guess my point is that, we are comfortable. We don't have to fear for our lives or our heads when we preach the Gospel...but do we even do that? Do we go out and share the best thing about us? No.  I know that I don't do what God has commanded.  We are commanded to go out into the world and spread the good news.  I want to become better at these things.  I want to tell the world about my Jesus! Don't you?  People in other countries die every day for their faith!  They knew before they died that they were headed to heaven.  Then why fear friends that might ridicule you?  What can that do to you? Nothing.  Ridicule is a sinful disease, that we all suffer from, but it doesn't hurt our souls.  Neither does DEATH.  Death is the passing of the body, and the soul returns to either Heaven or Hell. Where do you want to be?  I bet I can guess! HEAVEN!!!!! But lets work on overcoming that lump of pride of that Fear of man and step out and Fly.  Not Crawl, God made us to fly.  So lets do it!

We are more than just youth, we are chosen by Jesus!

Hey y'all!  We are so much more that teens that sit around and play Wii and other video games, text, talk on the phone, reject our parents, and live up to the reputation that teens have.  What kind of reputation is that?  We can do so much better!  I don't want to be known as someone who would rather be a better friend to my phone than my family.  I mean, what does that show the world we are?  Are we strong that way? No. Do we want to be?  Well, I do.  What about you?  Why are we so afraid to share our faith or even step out and be different? I mean, If your a swan in a flock of ducks, you may be the odd one out, you may be all alone...but you are definitely the most beautiful!  Don't you want to stand out as something strong and beautiful?  I do.  We are a Chosen Generation!  Stand out.
